Yes, in most cases, the finale in musicals is sung live. The actors and actresses perform the final song on stage, often with the entire cast joining in for a big, show-stopping number. This live performance adds to the energy and excitement of the finale, creating a memorable and impactful conclusion to the musical. However, there may be some exceptions where pre-recorded music is used for the finale, especially in larger productions with complex technical requirements. **

Classic musicals typically refer to the musicals that were popular in the mid-20th century, such as "The Sound of Music" or "West Side Story." These musicals often have a more traditional structure and style, with catchy tunes and big dance numbers. New musicals, on the other hand, are more contemporary and often incorporate elements of pop, rock, or hip-hop music. They may also explore more modern themes and storytelling techniques, and may have a more experimental or non-traditional structure. Overall, classic musicals tend to have a more timeless and nostalgic feel, while new musicals are often more innovative and reflective of current cultural trends. **

As an AI, I do not have personal preferences or emotions, so I do not have the capacity to like or dislike musicals. However, I can provide information and assistance on the topic of musicals if you are interested in learning more about them. **

Musicals were typically performed in theaters, opera houses, or dedicated performance venues. These venues provided the necessary space and infrastructure for staging elaborate musical productions, including sets, lighting, and sound equipment. Theaters and opera houses also offered a formal and professional setting for audiences to enjoy the spectacle and artistry of musical theater performances. Additionally, some musicals were performed in outdoor amphitheaters or temporary venues for special events or touring productions. **

There are many lesser-known musicals that may not have achieved the same level of popularity as some of the more well-known ones. Some examples of lesser-known musicals include "The Last Five Years," "The Light in the Piazza," and "The Band's Visit." These musicals may not have had the same level of commercial success or widespread recognition as more famous shows like "Hamilton" or "The Phantom of the Opera," but they still have dedicated fan bases and have made an impact in the musical theater world. **

I would recommend "Hamilton" for its innovative blend of hip-hop and traditional musical theater, as well as its powerful storytelling about the founding fathers. "Dear Evan Hansen" is another great choice for its emotional depth and contemporary themes of mental health and connection. Lastly, "The Phantom of the Opera" is a classic musical with stunning visuals, iconic music, and a timeless love story that continues to captivate audiences worldwide. **

One can watch musicals by attending live performances at theaters or concert venues. Alternatively, musicals can also be enjoyed by watching film adaptations or recordings of stage productions. Many streaming platforms offer a selection of musicals that can be watched from the comfort of one's home. Additionally, some television networks may broadcast musical performances or specials. **

Good school musicals are those that have age-appropriate content, engaging storylines, and a variety of roles for students to participate in. Some popular choices for school musicals include "The Sound of Music," "Grease," "Beauty and the Beast," "The Little Mermaid," and "High School Musical." These musicals offer a mix of classic and contemporary themes, memorable songs, and opportunities for students to showcase their talents in acting, singing, and dancing. Additionally, musicals with positive messages and relatable characters can resonate with both the performers and the audience. **
